Your No. 1 goal is to bring the client back. Did you know, 20% of your clients make up 80% of your business? But even with a great service and experience, some of your clients may not return on a regular basis. Maybe the time has slipped away from them, or maybe they didn’t like something about their last appointment. Keep track of clients that haven’t been in to see you in the last three months and have no future appointments. Actively market to them with “I Miss You” emails and promotions on service. Invite them to return for a visit and offer a discount or added service. More than likely, they will be touched that you thought of them.
Think about your clients who have not been back for some time. Access your computer database for an accurate list or just recall from memory. Send each one of those missing-in-action clients a handwritten note telling them that you miss them and that you would like to see them soon. Offer them an added-value service. Ask them to call if they are having any challenges or if you can help them in any way.
